Opel Corsa B Suspension Tuning.
The Opel Corsa B has very soft suspension as standard. This can lead to unstable handling during cornering, especially when going through a succession of direction changes. Instability can also be felt at high speed with the car giving a floating feeling especially at speeds over 140km/h. The good news is that there a number of parts available which can transforms the car handling characteristics and can lift the performance of any Corsa B to a the level of a true performance car while still maintaining comfort.

H&R Sport Springs will dramatically improve the handling of any Corsa B. The car will roll less in corners, the car will fell secure under braking and the car will feel tied to the road even at high speeds. H&R Springs can be fitted to the original shock absorbers/dampers without a problem. However if the dampers on your car are over 3 or 4 years old we strongly recommend replacing them with new dampers. If you want a firmer and more sporty ride we recommend fitting Bilstein B8 dampers. If you would like to benefit soley from improved cornering, braking and high speed stability while keeping the original ride comfort we recommend fitting Bilstein B4 Dampers.

Even performance suspension kits dont eliminate all body roll because they need to have some compliance to absorb bumps in the road. H&R Roll Bars reduce body roll while maintaining ride comfort. Anti-Roll bars are not a miracle cure to bad suspension, they are a fine tuning part to get the best of an already good suspension set up.

Bilstein B8 Dampers - Opel Corsa B - All Models

Bilstein B8 dampers should be used with sport springs. When Bilstein B8 dampers are combined with H&R sport springs the Corsa B's handling is taking to a level above the performance given by Bilstein B4 dampers with H&R springs with only small reduction in ride comfort.
